Overview

The Benefit Status panel on your dashboard allows you to easily monitor your current status for WIOA, SNAP, Trade, and other federal benefit programs you are enrolled in from a single convenient location. You can quickly switch between programs listed on cards that are color-coded by benefit type, to help you stay informed and in control of your benefits.

About Federal Programs Status

See Complete a Common Application for Eligibility Prospects to review and apply for federal programs that you may be eligible for. Federal program benefit cards include the following categories:

  • Adult Education – Programs and courses for adults who are out of school but hoping to continue learning.

  • Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) – RAP is a structured system of training that combines on-the-job learning with related classroom instruction, allowing workers to earn money while they learn a skilled trade or occupation. These programs are officially registered and validated by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) or a State Apprenticeship Agency (SAA) to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) – Commonly referred to as "food stamps," SNAP helps low-income individuals and families access nutritious food. Eligible participants receive electronic benefit transfers (EBT) to purchase most groceries at authorized retailers. SNAP aims to reduce hunger and improve nutrition and health among vulnerable populations while stimulating local economies through food purchases.

  • Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) – Provides benefits and services to workers who lose their jobs due to the effects of international trade. Through TAA, eligible workers may receive job training, workshops on résumé writing and interviewing, job search and relocation assistance, income support, help with healthcare premium costs, and other reemployment services.

  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) – TANF provides temporary financial assistance to low-income families with children and to help parents find and maintain employment so they can independently support their families.

  • Vocational Rehabilitation (Voc Rehab) and Independent Living (IL) Services – Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a federal-state program that helps people with physical, mental, or visual disabilities find and keep employment. Voc Rehab is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities build meaningful careers. IL helps disabled individuals live independently.

  • Wagner-Peyser – This program connects job seekers with employers, improves labor market efficiency, and supports economic stability. This includes helping veterans and migrant seasonal farmworkers gain employment.

  • Welfare Transition Program – This program emphasizes work, self-sufficiency, and personal responsibility while helping Temporary Cash Assistance recipients transition from welfare to independence.

  • Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) – WIOA programs provide a variety of services based on an individual’s need for assistance in obtaining employment and/or training. Programs include the following types:

    • WIOA Adult – Helps adults build workforce skills, access training and career services, and obtain industry-recognized credentials to secure quality jobs that support self-sufficiency.

    • WIOA Dislocated Worker – Offers support and resources to individuals who lost their jobs due to layoffs, closures, or economic downturns, helping them return to the workforce.

    • WIOA Youth – To qualify for the WIOA Youth Program, you must be 14–24 years old and have at least one barrier to employment as defined by WIOA. Services include academic support (tutoring, study skills, alternative education, dropout recovery), work experience (summer jobs, internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing, on-the-job training), skills training, leadership development, supportive services (transportation, child care, etc.), mentoring, career counseling, financial literacy, entrepreneurship training, labor market information, college transition assistance, and follow-up support after program completion.

  1. Select one of the links listed at the bottom of the desired program Benefits Status card for more information, such as Learn More, More Details, View Application, or View Eligibility. Some cards are labeled Next Step to suggest possible actions you can take.

View Application on My Application card. Only displays when you have a completed application.

View the status of your eligibility review for the program

View Eligibility on My [program] Eligibility card. Only displays when your application has been determined 'eligible.'

View the status of your service enrollments for the program View Enrollment History on Enrollment card. Only displays once you are enrolled in a program and have services.
View your program outcome status View Outcome on Outcome card. Only displays once you have completed your enrollment and have (depending on the program) completed training or employment or some other outcome or exited.
Upload a requested document View Request on Document Request card. Only displays if staff have requested that you upload a document(s).
Provide a requested signature View Request on Signature Request card. Only displays if you have an outstanding signature request for the application.
