Investigate Training/Education Providers and Schools

Overview

The

The Training Providers and Schools section allows you to search for training and education providers and the programs they offer. Providers may be WIOA-eligible, a school or program that your workforce center has reviewed and approved so you can safely use WIOA funds for training that leads to good jobs.

You can search for providers by a keyword in the provider’s name, a provider type or ownership type, or a provider listing. Detailed provider information includes contact information, ownership, provider type (e.g., four-year college), web address, and detailed information on the courses the institution offers.

  • Directory of Services tab > Services for Individuals > Education Services icon > Training Providers and Schools icon

Steps to View Provider Details

Your site may display different options from those shown here.

  1. Search for and select the desired provider. See [Search for Training Providers--to be created] for details. The Provider Details page displays.

  2. Review the information in the following sections to learn more about the provider.

  • Provider Information — This section lists the provider’s contact information, provider type, and ownership, as well as links to a map of the location, driving directions, ,provider website, , and a link to see if you might be eligible for assistance.   • Contacts -— This section lists ...

  • Program Information — This section lists the provider’s programs, the credential each leads to, whether the program is WIOA-eligible, the length of the program, and whether scholarships are available. To learn more about a specific program, select the corresponding link in the Program Name column to open the Program Details page. See Research Training/Education Programs for more information.
