Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Training

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a program that helps people get jobs and job training. If you qualify, WIOA can help pay for classes, training, books, and materials at approved schools. To get started, you must contact your local workforce development office to see if you’re eligible and apply for a training account.

Trade Adjustment Assistance Training

The Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program helps you if you lost your job because of foreign trade, such as work moving to another country. You may qualify for money to help pay for career training. To find out, you must contact your local workforce office to see if a petition has been filed for workers from your company.
