Find Jobs by Employer or a Specific Job ID Number
Overview
The Employer tab allows you to search for jobs offered by specific employers using keyword searches, browsing by the first letter of a company name, viewing top employers with the most job openings, or researching employer profiles to see if they have current listings. In addition, the Job Number Search tab lets you quickly locate a specific job posting by entering the unique job order number assigned within the system. Together, these tools provide flexible options for finding job opportunities, whether you are exploring organizations that match your interests or searching for a particular job order directly.

To search for jobs by employer, select from one of the following four criteria options:
Search for employers by keyword
-
Type a keyword into the field provided and the system will search the employer names for the keyword you have entered. You can enter whole or partial names or other keywords.
-
You can further customize your search results by selecting the Keyword Search Options link:
-
Begins with – This option searches for your keyword at the beginning of a business name, description, or both. For example, searching for "computer" in the Business Name field would yield results including Computer Superstore, Computer Systems, and Computerized Marketing. It would not return a match for a business named Your Computer Superstore because the keyword, "computer," does not occur at the beginning of the business name.
-
Contains – This option searches for your keywords anywhere within the business name, description, or both. For example, searching on "computer" would return results including AAA Computer Sales, Computer Superstore, and "design graphics on a computer."
-
Employer Name Type – Both checkboxes can be selected, if desired. Common Business Name refers to the common name as opposed to the full business name (i.e., "IBM" for "IBM Corporation").
-
Select the Search button at the bottom of the page. The employer list displays, showing a link of the number of openings within the area you selected.
-
You can sort the list of employers by selecting a column heading, or move forward and backward through the list by using the arrow icons below the table.
